Plants Vs Zombies Garden warfare Xbox release date confirmed.

Garden Warfare is a multiplayer-only action game due to launch "first" on Xbox platforms, priced at $39.99 / £34.99 on Xbox One and $29.99 / £24.99 on Xbox 360.

The game is set to have "more than" ten maps and three modes: two 12v12 competitive multiplayer called Garden & Graveyards and Team Vanquish, and a four-player co-operative mode called Garden Ops.

The Xbox One version of the game will be getting an exclusive Boss mode which lets you control Dr. Zomboss or Crazy Dave characters, and will use Kinect or SmartGlass to give players a top-down view of the battlefield.

"Gamers across the world have fallen in love with the Plants vs. Zombies characters and now they'll get to see them in an entirely new light," said producer Brian Lindley in a statement.

"Plants vs. Zombies Garden Warfare give the series' fans and shooter players a fun, new experience that they'll both enjoy as they blast, chomp and laugh their way through co-op and head-to-head online action."

Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare will release for Xbox One and Xbox 360 on February 18, 2014 in North America and February 20, 2014 in Europe, EA has confirmed. EA said a release date for the PC version of Garden Warfare will be announced at "a later date".
