Disney Interactive - the media conglomerate's games division - brought in $403 million during the final three months of 2013.
That figure, represents a 38 per cent increase in sales. Operating income, meanwhile, surged by $46 million to hit $55 million. Both increases were made possible by Disney Infinity sales.
The sharp increase is flattered by poor results to compare it to. In 2012, Disney Interactive's flagship title was Epic Mickey 2, which sold about 500,000 units in the US by the end of December - far below expectations.
The corporation is said to now be working on Disney Infinity 2, which will include Marvel and Star Wars characters.
During the three months ending December, the overall Disney business made $12.3 in sales, which resulted in a $1.8 billion profit.
