PopCap has delayed Plants vs. Zombies: Garden Warfare by a week. as delays go it's not too bad.
According to a statement, the game's new release date is February 25 in North America and February 27 in Europe.
No reason has been given for the delay. which is unusual.
Garden Warfare is a multiplayer-only action game due to launch "first" on Xbox platforms, priced at $39.99 / £34.99 on Xbox One and $29.99 / £24.99 on Xbox 360.
The game is to feature "more than" ten maps and three modes: two 12v12 competitive multiplayer types called Garden & Graveyards and Team Vanquish, and a four-player co-operative mode called Garden Ops.
The Xbox One version of the game will feature an exclusive Boss modewhich lets players control Dr. Zomboss or Crazy Dave characters, and will utilise Kinect or SmartGlass to give players a top-down view of the battlefield.
