A new update to the Kinect Sports Rivals Preseason app will introduce an international tournament taking place all of February.
Preseason International Champions begins on Saturday, the 1st of February, allowing players to set their fastest race time on the in-game leaderboard, in an attempt to be the fastest racer in both their country and the world.
The player with the fastest time in the world will receive an exclusive golden wake racer which can be used in the full version of Kinect Sports Rivals when it's released in Spring.
Meanwhile, the players with the fastest times in their respective countries will earn a silver wake racer.
Finally, every participant from the winning player's home country will also receive a special wake racer livery with the country's flag on it - so it might be worth to have a go... ya know for fun :P
As well as the tourney, there will be a some daily challenges that will allow you to unlock in-game items that are only available throughout February.
Released on November 22, Kinect Sports Rivals Preseason is a free enhanced demo that allows players to try out the wake racing event from the delayed Kinect Sports Rivals. According to Microsoft, it has been downloaded over 1 million times.
